Growing up in Brooklyn in the 90's was a wild experience for me. . From a young age, I’ve always been fascinated with images: magazines, comics, billboards, paintings, posters, even family portraits. You name it. I wanted to know what it felt like to create these things. Essentially, I wanted to be a creator, but I was terrible at drawing. Plus, I had no money for a camera. I was discouraged and gave up on the dream of creating. Many years later, my mother gifted me her Canon PowerShot A60, and I slowly grew fond of using it. I was unofficially the family photographer. It wouldn’t be until discovering the works of Henri Cartier Bresson, Gordon Parks, Ho Fan, to name a few that my love for photo images grew.
It has taken me some time, but I’m finally creating my own images, and it feels GREAT.
